Our chosen city to explore was Brno, a city that promised both cultural richness and intriguing natural wonders. Although we arrived late, we were determined to make the most of our time.
Our arrival in Brno was marked by a sense of excitement, even though the hour was quite late. We quickly settled into our accommodations and decided to head out in search of a taste of Czech cuisine. We discovered a charming local restaurant, where we indulged in hearty dishes that included classic Czech goulash and tender pork knuckle. The food was a comforting introduction to the Czech culinary tradition. With our bellies full and spirits high, we called it a night, eagerly anticipating the adventures that awaited us on the following day.
On the 10th day of our journey, we delved into the captivating offerings of Brno. The highlight of the day was a visit to the Punkva Caves, a subterranean wonder that took us on a surreal boat ride through the cave’s underground river. The intricate formations of stalactites and stalagmites left us in awe, reminding us of the marvels that nature can craft. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we couldn’t help but feel that our day in Brno had been a truly remarkable experience, leaving us eager to embrace the rest of our European adventure.
